Getting There

North Stradbroke Island is situated off the coast of south east Queensland, Australia.

It is 56 minutes by car and passenger vehicle ferry from Cleveland, Brisbane.  A passenger water taxi also operates and takes 20 mins. Buses meet the water taxis and there is a bus stop close to the house (2 -3 minute walk).

There are two main vehicle ferries operating to North Stradbroke Island; the Minjerribah and the Sea Breeze (also known as the Big Red Cat). During busy times, Stradbroke Ferries uses additional vehicle ferry services, most of which do not have on board cafe facilities.
